Program Goal To provide participants with a thorough summary of the rationale, challenges, opportunities and techniques in minimally invasive spine surgery. Learning Objectives As a result of this activity, the participant should be better able to: • Describe the rationale, advances, surgical tips, and complications associated with current MISS techniques, including lateral, TLIF, and endoscopic. • Discuss MISS treatment options and their outcomes for the management of spinal deformity, cervical and lumbar degenerative, trauma, and tumor conditions. • Describe current best practices for various MISS challenges, including use of robotics, navigation, and new technologies to enhance fusion. • Discuss patient outcomes and the economics associated with ambulatory spine surgery centers.
