We are excited to invite you to the 75th Annual Meeting of the Southern Neurosurgical Society at the JW Marriott Marco Island.

We expect the 2025 meeting to set records for attendance due to the fabulous destination and exciting program. Attendance is open to all neurosurgeons—you do not have to be a member or live in the South. You won’t want to miss the cutting-edge content or the camaraderie with your colleagues!

Call for Abstracts

Attendees at the 75th Southern Neurosurgical Society Annual Meeting are invited to submit abstracts for presentation during the course. Abstract submission and course registration are open to members and non-members alike. We encourage you to submit abstracts relating to current and emerging techniques and technology, evidence-based approaches to neurosurgical practice, and basic science studies relevant to neurosurgery.

Abstract Awards

Submissions by medical residents are considered for the Augustus McCravey Resident Paper Awards; all abstracts are considered for the Anil Nanda Award. Each of these awards include a $500 prize plus free registration and hotel stay at the Annual Meeting.

Attention Young Surgeons: Apply for a Travel Grant to Attend SNS 2025

Residents, fellows, and surgeons within their first 3 years of practice are invited to apply for an educational grant to attend SNS 2025. Must be United States-based and have completed medical school (MD or DO).

  • Recipients will receive a registration rebate plus up to $275 in reimbursement of travel expenses.
  • Grant recipients will be required to attend a Young Surgeon Workshop and Young Surgeon evening event on Thursday, February 6 for their rebate and reimbursement to be processed.
  • To apply, complete the form below by October 23, 2024. Notifications sent by November 18, 2024.
Registration

Includes admittance to meeting, meeting guide, app, and other materials, breakfast and coffee breaks on program days, Welcome Reception, Family Night, and the Final Banquet.

All guest registration includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday breakfasts, the Welcome Reception, and Family Night. Adult Guest registration also includes the Final Banquet on Saturday night.

  • SNS Member Neurosurgeon: $850
  • Non-Member Neurosurgeon: $1,050
  • Resident/Fellow: $625
  • Nurse/Advanced Practice Provider: $675

The discounted rate will not be available after January 7, 2024 or if our room block sells out.
